NEXT MISSION DATES - AUGUST 2-10, 2025
Please check back. We will be setting our mission dates for 2025 very soon. We are looking for dentists, dental assistants, dental hygienists, and general volunteers. There is something for everyone to do. For more information about being part of the upcoming mission, please click on the Contact tab and drop us a line.
SEPTEMBER 2024
Every year brings something new and exciting to our dental missions as we continue to learn and grow. This year we were thrilled to offer one day dentures for some of our patients. With the help of the professionals, and a lot of hard work by Ron, we were able to set up a lab where the dentures could be made on site. It was life changing for some of the patients. To see what a difference it made, check out Sylvia's Smile. In addition, we saw more school children than ever before, applying fluoride to over 350 children. Also for the first time this year we had a talented photographer who shared her gift with us. There truly is a place for everyone who has a heart for others and wants to make a difference.

JULY 2023
Our July 2023 Mission was challenging as we did not have an American dentist or hygienist, however, we did have an excellent dental student and a Honduran team of dentists who graciously traveled to our location so we could provide care to those in need. We saw patients in the clinic and visited three area schools. We ended the week with a visit to the Mayan ruins.

SEPTEMBER 2022
In September 2022, we finally returned to Honduras! This year four Honduran dentists joined with our American team to provide free dental care in the clinic. Again this year we returned to the schools to provide oral hygiene instruction and fluoride treatments to over 250 school children. More photos coming soon.

MARCH 2020
Another successful dental mission! In March, we were joined by Dr. Forrest Bowen and his daughter, Elizabeth. Dr. Bowen's calm and gentle demeanor made him especially great with our young patients at the clinic and schools. Elizabeth jumped in with enthusiasm, always ready to help with any task! We also had Dr. Oscar with us for the week, and we truly appreciate his ongoing dedication. Exciting news: Maritza Urbina, who has volunteered with us for several years, is now Dr. Maritza! We congratulate her and are thrilled to have her on board during our mission weeks. Additionally, we expanded our school outreach program, allowing us to educate even more children about the importance of good dental hygiene and fluoride protection. Thanks to generous donations from individuals and the Henry Schein Foundation, we provided every patient with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss.
